The WonderFold Fairy: Spreading Joy, One Wagon at a Time
The WonderFold Fairy is back, spreading kindness one wagon at a time! Each month, through WonderFold Cares, we have the privilege of gifting families with a WonderFold Wagon to help make their daily lives a little easier. Whether it's supporting a child through recovery, assisting parents with multiple little ones, or easing the challenges of fostering, these wagons provide comfort and mobility when families need it most. This month, we’re honored to share the stories of Jaxson, Wyatt, and Amy—three families who have received a special gift from The WonderFold Fairy.
Jaxson's Story
This month, The WonderFold Fairy found a sweet boy through Facebook, his story being shared by a friend asking for prayers while he was hospitalized.
Jaxson was born with not only Cystic Fibrosis but also a rare blood disease called Autoimmune Lymphoproliferative Syndrome. According to the doctors, he is the only known case with both diseases. Fortunately, both have been fairly well controlled with medications and treatments.
This year, though, after starting preschool, we noticed an increase in his sick days. On December 2nd, he came home with a strange cough that turned severe, so we took him to the ER. Within 48 hours of being there, our world turned into a nightmare.

He quickly ended up on a ventilator and then also on ECMO life support. After about a week, he was miraculously strong enough to come off the machines but is now dealing with intensive rehabilitation due to his complete loss of mobility. This is one of the side effects of being on life support for extended periods.
Through all that, he has always been the strongest kid! To this day, he is still blowing the minds of doctors with his progress.
Jaxson is utilizing his W2 Elite Wagon while heading to his physical therapy and is now able to walk several steps by himself! If you would like to follow his journey and see more updates on Jaxson, follow Jaxson's Journey on Facebook!
Wyatt's Story
Just like Jaxson’s story proves that family is more than just blood, Wyatt’s nomination shows the depth of a husband's love for his wife. Wanting to make her day easier while caring for three little ones under the age of three, he submitted the following nomination:
"I'm nominating my wife for this. We've got three sons under three, and a wagon like the W4 would make family outings so much easier. I’m a nurse, and she stays home with the boys. Every day, she walks to pick up our oldest from school, and having this wagon would be life-changing. I can't even describe how much of a difference it would make for my wife and our family.
COVID has been tough, and since I work in the COVID unit, I've spent so much time away at work while she’s been holding down the fort at home. She’s seen this wagon on TikTok and hasn’t stopped talking about it since. Thank you for taking the time to consider us."
What a beautiful nomination! We are honored to gift Wyatt’s wife a WonderFold W4 Wagon to help make daily life with their three little ones a bit easier.
Amy's Story
Another heartwarming nomination came from a friend of Amy and her family:
"Amy and her husband have two young children and recently—very unexpectedly—became foster parents to two more!
Two of the children have developmental delays and behavioral challenges (some of which are fairly extreme), making outings as a family difficult. A WonderFold Wagon would be an incredible help in keeping the three younger children secure as they attend daily appointments. It would also give them the confidence to go out and participate in events and activities together as a family during this very challenging—but rewarding—time in their lives."
We were touched by this story and thrilled to provide Amy’s family with a WonderFold Wagon to help make their new family adventures a little smoother.
